A global banking group with over 200 million customer accounts worldwide is directing technology and the application of technology in the EMEA region for the Regional AML team.
As such, an exciting new position has been created for a Head of EMEA AML Compliance Technology to oversee the development and implementation of technology platforms strategy across the EMEA region.
This is a unique role directing technology and the application of AML technology in the EMEA region. You will be the AML lead for technology systems utilized across monitoring and KYC applications. Key projects will be the implementation of a large scale AML Technology and Sanctions platform. This is a very pivotal role in the organization and the job holder will have extensive liaison with compliance, technology and business leads at all levels. You will develop a Partnership with EMEA AML Technology, EMEA AML Compliance and EMEA AML Operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to EMEA AML and regulatory challenges in 53 countries and varying businesses. You will gain awareness of AML challenges worldwide and interact with all levels of management. It will be a great chance to make a positive and visible impact and gain direct reward and recognition.
To apply candidates must have a background in information technology and application in a business context. You will be able to deal with regulatory and business detailed information and develop technology solutions. The job holder must be comfortable with explaining detailed technology challenges to many differing groups from Business to Audit to Technology and regulatory bodies. You will be able to comfortably deal with regulatory and technology ambiguity and come up with real world practical solutions to AML issues.
